I was the lead writer on inFAMOUS 2, a AAA super hero action game developed by Sucker Punch Productions.

I was already a fan of the original game when I came on to the project, so it was a very special privilege to craft the story for the sequel. While working on this title, I scripted dialogue and action sequences for mocap cinematics, composed NPC mission lines and emotes, generated scripts for faux TV broadcasts and “dead drop” recordings, and wrote various marketing materials for TV and web content.

The inFAMOUS series relates the story of Cole McGrath, a “conduit” who is blessed, or possibly cursed, with incredible electricity-based powers. The player can choose to use Cole’s powers for good or for ill, and these choices are quite meaningful, having a direct impact on his own abilities and on the state of the world around him.

Its open world freedom and its treatment of  superhero ethics are features that every frustrated comic book nut has longed to play, and Cole’s supercharged electric powers are immensely satisfying. Action and comic book fans, you owe it to yourselves to give this game a try.
